Cloudburst Event In Chinchwad, Pune
There was a weather phenomenon known as the shear zone present over Maharashtra, elongated towards the Arabian Sea. The wind flows from east to west In the northern part of the shear zone and moves in the opposite direction i.e. from west to east in its southern region.
The middle region is always silent as in there is no wind movement. This is where the chances of intense thunderstorms are always there.
