Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM):
Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat. 22°N/Long. 60°E, Lat. 22°N/Long. 65°E, Dwarka, Deesa, Udaipur, Kota, Gwalior, Shahjahanpur, Najibabad, Mandi and Lat. 33°N/Long. 79°E.  
Monsoon Advancement in Coming Days:
All Thanks to the well-marked low-pressure area due to which monsoon has advanced further in the last 24 hours and Conditions are becoming favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into remaining parts of North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, some more parts of Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and some parts of Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi during the next 24 hours.

Rainfall Forecast:
Today 4th July, Heavy to very heavy rains can be seen in Madhya Pradesh (especially west M.P), Konkan & Goa, Uttarakhand and  East Rajasthan. Heavy Rainfall is possible over Gujarat region, along West coast and North-East India.
Tomorrow 5th July, Heavy to very Heavy rain is foreseen over Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, and Konkan & Goa; heavy rainfall at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura.

All India Monsoon Season Rainfall Status as of Today:
Due to the well-marked low, widespread rains were seen in M.P, Odisha, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh last 3 days. Thus country wide deficiency has reduced to a good extent. From 1st June 2019 to 3rd July 2019, Our country has recorded 138.3 mm of Rains against the normal of 191.6 mm of rains which have resulted in countrywide deficiency to the tune of 28%.
