Last 24 Hours Weather Observation:
Active to
vigorous monsoon conditions were observed over Konkan and Goa. Active monsoon
condition was seen over Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Madhya Maharashtra and
Telangana. Normal Monsoon Conditions were seen in the Gujarat region and Telangana.
Remaining places observed subdued Monsoon Condition.
Extremely heavy rainfall observed
at a few places over Konkan & Goa and Gujarat region; Very Heavy rainfall
observed at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra and
Heavy rainfall observed at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya,
Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Vidarbha.
Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM):
Northern
limit of Monsoon passes through Dwarka(Saurashtra), Ahmedabad(Gujarat region),
Bhopal(West M.P), Jabalpur(East M.P), Pendra(Chhattisgarh), Sultanpur(U.P), Lakhimpur Kheri(U.P),
Mukteshwar(Uttarakhand).
Monsoon Advancement in Coming Days:
Now the
conditions are not favorable for the advancement of monsoon into remaining parts
of the country. The active monsoon surge
which was prevailing over the Indian mainland has now lost its pace and intensity.
For further
advancement of monsoon we have to wait for another fresh monsoon surge which
seems to be happening soon as the low-pressure area is going to develop over the north
bay of Bengal Tomorrow. Till then the
northwestern region and remaining parts of central India have to wait for much
awaited monsoon arrival.
Rainfall Due to Probable Low Pressure
Area From Tomorrow:
30th June: Heavy rainfall is foreseen in Odisha
state and adjoining the chhattisgarh region.
1st July: Heavy Rainfall at many paces with Extremely
heavy rainfall at isolated places of Odisha and Chhattisgarh state, Vidharbha.
2nd July: Heavy Rainfall at many paces with Extremely
heavy rainfall at isolated places of Odisha and Chhattisgarh state, Vidharbha.
3rd July: Heavy Rainfall at many paces with Extremely
heavy rainfall at isolated places Vidharbha, M.P and Konkan & Goa, Marathwada.

Status as of Today:
From
1st June 2019 to 29th June 2019 our country has recorded only 104.3
mm of Rains against the normal of 159 mm of rains which have resulted country
wide deficiency to the tune of 34%.
